The mission of the Pearce Civil War & Western Art Museum is to preserve and interpret the history of the American Civil War and the people involved. It encompasses the North and South, men and women, children and adults, leaders and common citizens. The Museum’s Western Art collection preserves and interprets art which depicts either the historic or modern American West. You will enjoy perusing both distinct exhibit areas:
The Civil War Gallery: The Civil War Gallery features over 15,000 Civil War items and is an interactive experience designed to give the visitor an overview of the causes, issues, battles, plight of the common soldier and their leaders, what is was like on the home front during the war, and the aftermath of the Civil War.
The Western Art Gallery: The Western Art Gallery features 228 two- and three-dimensional works of art depicting many aspects of the historical and contemporary Western experience. The art portrays the lives of cowboys, Indians, settlers, and pioneers.

The Pearce Museum is located at 3100 W. Collin St., Corsicana, TX 75110.
The museum is open Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 4:00pm, and Saturday from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
Admission is $8 for adults; $6 for seniors (55+); $4 for students (6-17); and FREE for children 5 and under, Navarro College employees and students, and Pearce Museum members.
