  • How is All-on-4 different from G4?

    While both secure a prosthetic with just four implant posts, the G4 system offers additional stability with a titanium-reinforced dental bridge

  • What if I am nervous about the procedure?

    We provide IV sedation to ensure you stay relaxed and calm! Our team is professional, kind, and compassionate. We can answer any of your questions or concerns and discuss sedation options.

  • How long does the procedure take?

    Day one is an easy day that consists of a 30-second, 3D X-ray and virtual implant placement planning using our advanced surgical software. This step is so we know where, and at what angles, to place the implants before we do the surgery. During this visit, we also select the specifics of your smile and review your medical information. You will also have all of your questions answered, and discuss the process with Dr. Wright and your smile team! The time for this appointment generally runs between 30 minutes and 2 hours.

    Day two is transformation day! While you are under sedation, your remaining teeth will be extracted, your implants placed, and your prosthetic appliance attached. When you wake up you will have a new, albeit temporary, prosthetic in place! The time for this appointment generally runs between 4 and 8 hours.The procedure includes anywhere from 3 to 6 additional appointments. These are short appointments that typically last less than an hour. During these visits, we begin designing and fabricating your final prosthetic.

  • Wouldn’t six implants be more secure?

    Not necessarily. For patients missing jawbone density or who have lived with lost teeth for many years, six implants can require bone grafting and other procedures before placement can even be considered. Bone grafting and sinus augmentation increases initial failure rate, and sometimes requires extra visits. It is important not to wait to have your procedure done to minimize chances of needing bone grafting. In addition, your homecare is easier with four implants as opposed to more.

  • What does the implant bridge feel like?

    Eventually, the implant-retained bridge will feel as natural as your healthy teeth. However, initially, the sensation may be odd, particularly if you have been living with missing teeth for many years. But the initial challenges will soon pass as you grow accustomed to your implants. As with those who get braces, you may initially have difficulty speaking with your new teeth, but your speech will adapt quickly. Dr. Wright’s in-house lab technician is an expert at setting you up for success.

  • How does your facility differ from corporate dental centers?

    At corporate dental centers, you are likely to see several different faces, some of who are unfamiliar with your specific case, over the course of your treatment. Many corporate dental centers do not maintain an investment in the hygiene aspects of the procedure. The largest corporations do not even have hygienists on staff! Often, we see patients interested in having their corporate facility-made bridge remade. We’ve also heard many complain about how it took over a year for the corporate dental center to complete their prosthetic (not to mention the surprise additional payments not disclosed beforehand). Many of their surgeons are contracted to show up for surgery, but can’t be reached should complications arise. Dr. Wright gives you his cell phone number so that you can reach him anytime for any reason—because he cares about YOU!

  • Will you require my photo for before and after images?

    We would never require anyone to appear in before and after photos or videos. That is strictly voluntary. Most folks that volunteer want to provide hope for others. Others choose to keep it private. It is entirely up to you!

  • How can you offer the procedure for a lower price than other facilities?

    We can complete every step of the process under one roof. Therefore, we don’t need to outsource materials or prosthetic creation to other companies. Our lab technician works in-house and alongside Dr. Wright with so many patients that our lab costs are reduced. Because Dr. Wright performs so many of these cases, he receives bulk discounts on the best implants the U.S. has to offer. These savings are passed on to you!

  • Is Dr. Wright an oral surgeon or prosthodontist?

    Dr. Wright is a skilled professional with experience offering personalized care to our patients. A specialist indicates a certificate on paper, but does not qualify nor quantify experience in the field. Dr. Wright and his team have the advantage of years of experience. Most other patients ping-pong to a scan center, then to a prosthodontist or general dentist, then to an oral surgeon, and back and forth over and over to several locations. We oversee the entire case all under the same roof because our patients are both time and money conscious. Yes, we can work with other general dentists and specialists, but if you are looking for the most efficient way to obtain your smile, Dr. Wright is the right choice.

  • How do I get to your facility from the hotel?

    We can work with you to arrange a driver to bring you to the office from the airport.

  • Can I bring someone with me?

    We encourage you to! In fact, we always book hotel rooms with two queen beds to accommodate traveling companions. A companion can help ensure you make it safely from our office to your hotel, taking care of you as you regain your alertness. If you are alone, you will need to remain in the office until the sedation wears off completely.

  • Do you have locations outside of Texas?

    Dr. Wright is currently working with and training other doctors to be able to perform quality implant placement. Currently, we have offices located in Corsicana and Waxahachie, TX. Our concierge services can assist with travel and accommodations to make the excursion to our offices easier.

  • Do you provide lodging?

    Yes, we can book a room for you and anyone that may be traveling with you. The price is not included in the cost of treatment. However, you will be responsible for any additional fees, room service, or deposit.

  • What airports do I use?

    The largest and most accessible airports near our Corsicana and Fort Worth locations are DFW International Airport and Love Field.

  • How do I care for my new teeth?

    You should care for them just as you would your natural teeth. We recommend brushing them twice a day with a toothbrush and toothpaste. A week after placement, we suggest flossing using a Waterpik. Immediately after placement, we will provide a special rotary brush to clean your new teeth, as well as a special rinse to use in lieu of toothpaste.

  • What if a problem arises after I return home?

    Complications, such as swelling, infection, or discomfort, are very rare. However, should they occur, we can call a prescription into your local pharmacy. For added security, you can also opt for our Extended Warranty and Maintenance Program.

  • What if I want to change how my new teeth look?

    We always recommend patients see us four to six months after placement for a reline and to assess the prosthetic’s stability. During this visit, we can make changes to the shade or overall appearance of your new teeth.

  • Will I need a reline?

    Yes. After placement, your gums will recede slightly, leaving a space between the bridge and gums. While there is always a small space to make cleaning easier, the recession can enlarge it. A reline after four to six months can allow the dentist to narrow the gap.

  • How do I use a Waterpik?

    A Waterpik is a water flosser that massages and stimulates the gums while removing food and plaque. Waterpiks can provide a more thorough cleaning, especially for people with orthodontics or prosthetics. We can offer detailed instructions in proper use and maintenance.

  • Can food become trapped under the bridge?

    Yes. However, using a Waterpik daily can allow you to easily dislodge trapped food, protecting your smile from plaque buildup and other complications.

  • What foods can I eat post-surgery?

    That will depend on a number of factors, including jawbone density and the torque the doctors reach during placement. However, in most cases, patients can eat any food they wish following placement.

  • How will you ensure my bite is correct?

    We can use advanced technology to scan your smile, mapping your bite and identifying any areas that interfere with proper bite balance. We can diagnose possible problems and recommend treatment with greater precision and accuracy, ensuring you enjoy a comfortable bite following implant bridge placement.

  • How often should an implant bridge be professionally cleaned?

    To ensure a long-lasting and stable bridge, we do recommend having the implant-retained bridge cleaned every six months. We offer an optimal Maintenance Package to assist with this. However, the bridge can also be cleaned by the Just Wright Dental Team.

  • When will payment be due?

    Payment is due in full at the time of surgery. If you will be using financing, then all arrangements need to be made two weeks prior to the surgery date.

  • What’s the definition of an arch?

    An arch is defined as your maxillary (upper) or mandibular (lower) jaw.

  • Can I use an HSA to pay?

    Yes. If the procedure is included in the list of qualifying medical expenses described in Section 213(d) of the IRS tax code, then the funds are tax-free. Qualifying expenses typically include medical or dental procedures used to alleviate and/or prevent a physical or mental issue. However, if the procedure isn’t qualified, then you could be taxed at your income tax rate, plus 20 percent if you’re under 65.

  • Can I use funds from my IRA?

    You can, but taking money from your IRA before you reach the age of 59 ½ can mean a 10 percent penalty. However, you may be able to deduct your medical or dental expenses by itemizing your deductions. The exemption can potentially allow you to avoid the 10 percent fee.

  • Is the procedure’s cost tax deductible?

    Possibly, but that will depend on a number of different factors. Form 1040 Schedule A may allow you to deduct medical or dental expenses for you or a dependent. You can also visit the Publication 502 page on the IRS website for more details on deductions and credits related to medical and dental care.

  • Do you offer payment plans?

    We have a number of different financing plans available. We also work with third-party financing companies, including Lending Club and GreenSky.

  • Will insurance cover the procedure?

    That depends on a number of different factors. In most cases, insurance really only covers the extractions that may be necessary. Medical insurance may cover some of the procedure if tooth loss is the result of an accident. However, this will depend on the type of coverage you have.

  • What type of payment do you accept?

    We accept personal checks, major credit cards, cashier checks, or bank checks.

  • What options are available?

    We actually have a number of different options to help people who need treatment but simply can’t afford it. First, we offer the Wright Savings Plan. We also have a financing department, which can work with you to create a convenient and budget-friendly payment plan. We also work with third-party lenders, such as Lending Club.
