Restorative dentistry offers Dr. Wright a variety of ways to repair, rebuild, and protect teeth that are severely compromised. For instance, cavities can be treated with fillings, or in severe cases, root canal treatment and a crown. Damaged teeth can typically be repaired with a dental crown, and missing teeth can be replaced with a bridge, denture, or a dental implant-supported prosthesis. If a tooth cannot be saved, then Dr. Wright may recommend extracting it and replacing it with a lifelike implant and crown to reestablish a healthy, functional bite.
